ASSISTANT TEACHING PROFESSOR, MUSIC INDUSTRY PROGRAM (2 POSITIONS AVAILABLE)

Drexel University’s top-ranked Music Industry Program is seeking to hire two dynamic, accomplished and passionate music industry experts to join our team as Assistant Teaching Professors. The ideal candidates will bring with them meaningful and in-depth expertise derived from their experience at an entertainment law firm, music publishing company, record label, Digital Service Provider (DSP), management company, and/or other related practical experience. The position affords the right individual an exciting opportunity to contribute their background to teach and mentor highly motivated students, to serve the community and to work with colleagues who are well-respected members of the music industry.

A successful Assistant Teaching Professor will have significant and current experience in the evolving global music industry as it relates to licensing, analytics, and revenue streams. It is preferable that the candidate also have prior teaching experience at the college level. They will bring in-depth expertise related to the music business and will be expected to fulfil a teaching load of 24-27 credits spread over three quarter terms of the academic year, and?consisting of classroom teaching.
